DIY OPULENCE

Want to mount your own Opulent Mobility exhibit? Re-imagine disability with us!

GUIDELINES FOR MOUNTING AN OPULENT MOBILITY EXHIBIT

1. An Opulent Mobility exhibit must be made up of works that re-imagine both visible and invisible disability.
2. Opulent Mobility exhibits must encourage works that address the issues of access, mobility and disability.
3. Condescension, stereotypes or patronizing attitudes toward “disabled” or “handicapped” people have no part in Opulent Mobility exhibits. Our goal is inclusion.
4. Participation in Opulent Mobility exhibits is not limited to disabled or able bodied contributors. The goal and the theme of the exhibit are more important than the physical and mental characteristics of any individual participant.
5. Artists should be actively sought out for inclusion in the exhibit.
6. Opulent Mobility is a competitive exhibit and should be judged accordingly. Exhibit entries must be curated based on artistic merit, original thought and creativity.
7. Opulent Mobility is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Anyone using the name Opulent Mobility must credit the founder A. Laura Brody and reference the website http://www.opulentmobility.com.
8. Share your work! We want to see your exhibit and share it with our audience.

Thank you! We look forward to working with you.
