ABOUT THE ARTIST:

“I am a self taught artist. I weld and join materials to create humorous deconstructions out of everyday objects. I live and work with schizophrenia- it is part and parcel of who I am. My work critiques the fickle dystopia of my mind. So I make jokes.”

DESCRIPTION:

N-EURO TRANSMITTER:
Two EXAKTA 35 mm cameras are painted bright yellow and mounted on 4-inch bolts. Attached on one side of the front of each camera is a 6-inch antenna. In place of the lens is an amber colored plastic prescription container. The bolts are screwed into a metal base – a pay phone coin box – and secured with a nut and washer. The camera on the left faces left and has an orange box. The one on the right faces us and has a black box with tiny white text: B42017.
