DESCRIPTION:
Power Wheelchair:
A black and white photo of the base of a power chair in a room. A dark triangular object spins pin-wheel like from the base. The circular edges around the object are blurred. In the background are an entry door on the left and a kitchen on the right.
Self Portrait with Matt Ebert:
A portrait of two figures on a porch. The house has wood siding with white trim. The figure on the left stands with hands behind the back and its dark hair pulled back. The figure wears small dark earrings, a dark top with a v-neck under a gray cardigan sweater, jeans and running shoes. The figure on the right sits in a power chair. It has dark hair, a gray tweed long sleeve shirt and black pants. One hand rests on the other. The figure wears a rectangular pendant necklace and wedding band.
Both figures wear stark white expressionless masks with cut outs at the eyes. On the far right in an open window is a tiger striped cat.
Spinning:
Black and white photo of a patio with a chest high white fence. On the patio is the blurred shape of a spinning figure in a power chair. The figure’s head is narrow with dark eye sockets. The body is a wide black mass. In the background are slender trees.
Wheeling:
A black and white photo of the slightly blurred image of a man in a power chair on a street. He wears a shirt, tie, light colored jacket, dark trousers and shoes. He has short hair and sunglasses. Behind him are a 6-foot-high wooden fence and the side of a house. A cluster of trees with bushes with slender branches are on the right.
